Ddolketmon (the “Service”) is a free Pokémon fan site created and operated by an individual as a hobby. We process only the minimum information needed to operate the Service.

1. Information we collect

A. When you use the Service without signing in

• Anonymous user ID — a random string created automatically by Firebase. It does not include your name, email address, or other information that directly identifies you. It is removed from your device when you clear the browser's site data.

B. When you sign in with Google

• Name, email address, and profile photo URL — values supplied by Google and stored in Firebase Authentication. The Service does not receive or have access to your Google password.

C. Records created while you use the Service

• Pokémon registered in your Pokédex, when you first and most recently encountered them, encounter counts, and the games where you encountered them
• Daily Pokémon progress, including attempt count, result, and participation streak
• Quiz, matching game, and Twenty Questions state needed to judge answers
• Usage counts needed to enforce daily limits

D. Information you enter

• Leaderboard display name — the name you enter when submitting a score. This name and your score are visible to everyone. Do not use your real name or other identifying information.
• Messages sent in Chat and Twenty Questions — please also read Section 3 below.

2. How we use information

• To save your Pokédex and let you continue on another device
• To provide game features such as leaderboards
• To prevent abusive automated requests and manage operating costs

We do not sell this information, use it to contact you, or disclose it except as described below. However, Google advertising services and tags collect information independently, and Google may use that information for personalized advertising. You can review or change those choices in My Ad Center.

3. Services that receive information

We use the following providers, which receive information as part of their work:

• Google (Firebase) — authentication, data storage, site hosting, and protection against abusive requests (reCAPTCHA). The information listed in Section 1 is stored here.
• Groq — your conversation is sent to Groq's servers to generate replies for Pokémon Chat and AI Twenty Questions. Do not enter private or sensitive information. Chat messages are not stored separately in the Service's database; Twenty Questions messages are kept only until the game ends so answers can be judged.
• Google AdSense — ads appear on some quiz, chat, and matching screens. Ads are kept outside active gameplay, such as start screens, lists, and leaderboards. The advertising provider may use cookies under its own policies.
• Google advertising tags — Pokédex pages load Google advertising tags. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to collect visit information, measure advertising performance, and personalize ads.

We do not use a separate site analytics service beyond the services listed above.

4. Cookies and browser storage

The Service uses browser storage to keep you signed in. Clearing site data signs you out. If you used only an anonymous account, your collected Pokédex cannot be recovered after that data is cleared. Signing in with Google keeps the record linked to your account.

5. Retention and deletion

Information is retained while the Service operates. If you request deletion, we will verify the request and delete the relevant information without undue delay. Stored information will also be deleted if the Service closes.

6. Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time using the contact details below. To disconnect the current Google account, select Sign out; this signs out the device but does not delete the records linked to the account.

7. Children

Children use this Service. Children under 14 should use it with a parent or guardian and obtain their consent before signing in with Google or entering a leaderboard display name.
